Teams!

Nerdscout teams of 3-13 people, locally or all over the world, meeting at regular intervals online or in person, and spend their time in some proportion of:

Friendship – It’s just fun to have a small group of acquaintances turning into friends as you keep meeting periodically)
Badges – In groups you can work together to help each other learn new badges, or create new badges.
Social Action – Working to increase Awesome, and fight ‘worldsuck’, and generally working to “Don’t forget to be awesome.

And each team has Nerdsake, like a mascot, who is or was a real person, who makes the world more awesome while finding and following their passions.
